I enjoyed reading this story but I felt that the ending just ended abruptly. There was something missing, perhaps an epilogue of sorts. I enjoyed the insertion of Trent and Teal from the previous book.

I thought that Thea and Lex's story was very good. I just wish that it had been a bit longer. I can't wait for Hope & Able's story.
I just wanted more! I loved the scene in the kitchen. Hilarious!
This book shows you how all the characters come in line of one person Earl . He was the one to bring two lovers together be for he dies. Mends two peoples heart and gives them the means to start over again. You even get a look at Trent and Teal.
Maybe more about their childhood? With flashbacks rather than just reminiscing... Iverson has a way of pulling you in and making you want to know more about her characters. I just want to know more.
Ms Iverson is a good writer. She can weave a tale. My only gripe is the grandfather and hero constantly trying to protect her. It's annoying. Stop treating her like a child. I hate it when women are , treated like fragile flowers.
The beginning of this short story held a bit of drama and I was hoping it would play out in the story, but after that this story fell all the way flat for me. No drama just a bunch of sex between two people that haven't seen one another in years. It didn't even make me want to read the next standalone where the author introduced Hope.
One of those times when I wish we could do half stars...this book is really a 4.5 for me. Well developed characters, great story, hot sex, just felt like it either should have been a bit longer or have a follow-up. I thoroughly enjoyed it just wanted to read more. I have enjoyed the series and plan to read more. Great work Ms. Iversen!
